Time: 6h30-8h30, Thursday 13/10/2012
Place: Smartlink English Center, No 3, Lane 196 Thai Thinh
(Note: Leave your vehicle at Viettin Bank 196 Thai Thinh)

In Vietnam, the image that people push and shove to get in a line is very popular, which is a “hot issue” and has been paid too much attention. Although many people criticize bad behaviors, “pushing and shoving” has still existed and become a Vietnamese “culture”
Meanwhile, in other countries, queuing and waiting for the turn every public places are absolutely obvious!
Many of you have remembered the great nuclear factory explosion in Japan in 2011 in which the image that Japanese citizens stood patiently in a straight line waiting for food and drinks under the toughest condition made thousands of people move to tear by. Why is it so different from Vietnamese people?
To help you find the answer, come and join us this Thursday with the topic: “Queue Culture”

Part 1: Warm up: (15 mins)
Game: Anagram game!

Part 2: Free talks: (45 mins)

1: To be honest, do you often queue seriously at any public places? If no, why didn’t you do the opposite thing?
2: What do you think the word “culture” in “Queue culture” means? Why do we need to build “Queue culture” in our society?
3: In terms of establishing “Queue culture” in our society, can you suggest some ways to make “our dream” come true?
4: Tell us some slogans that motivate people to queue seriously at public places like: “Queuing is a cultural beauty!”
Let your creativity work!

Part 3: Presentation and Q&A (25 mins)

Part 4: Practical Solutions! (35 mins)
One mother and her son have just finished shopping at BigC supermarket and she are so hurried for some problems that she doesn’t want to waste her time in waiting in such a long line. Therefore, she decided to shove into the top line and told her son: “Hey, honey, follow me” However, he didn’t want to do that and said “No, mommy!”
+ If you were the son, what would you do to persuade your mother to queue?
+ If you were the mother, what would you explain him to follow you? Because you were really hurried!
